Located North of Syracuse, this state-of-the-art cheese production plant primarily produces our award winning New York Cheddar. The focus of the facility is to maintain the “Old World Traditional Style” manufacturing practice for the high quality dairy products produced. Most of the premium cheese produced at our Adams facility is aged for later sale; our customers demand the consistent and high quality product that this plant produces.

Primarily a Mozzarella and Provolone manufacturing facility, this plant also packages the entire Great Lakes Cheese line of food service shreds, and is home to our award winning string cheese as well. Our La Crosse, WI plant was purchased in 1995 and expanded in 2002 and 2014. This plant added processed cheese to our offering. Processed American-style cheese slices for retail and foodservice are solely manufactured and packaged at this facility. This plant greatly extends the cheese packaging capabilities of Great Lakes Cheese.
